For reasons that are very near and dear to my heart, all of my recipes are free of animal products. Instead I use quality plant-based and mostly organic ingredients.

Why I choose to follow a vegan lifestyle: For my health; to end the violence, exploitation and mass-slaughter of farm animals; to stop the devastating impact animal agriculture has on world hunger, our wildlife, climate and environment; for peace...

I would absolutely love to answer any of your questions and help those of you who are interested in embracing this wonderful lifestyle.

Animal Ethics

Here are a few links to speeches and documentaries that have changed my life. I highly recommend them if you'd like to find out more:

Beyond Carnism by Melanie Joy: Short and sweet, easy-listening TedTalk about our food choices.

101 Reasons to Go Vegan: Humane educator James Wildman expresses simple truths and 101 reasons to go Vegan.

This speech is your WAKE UP CALL: James Aspey is a vegan animal-rights activist. He explains the importance of being vegan and how to communicate the vegan message effectively.

Best speech you may ever hear: Gary Yourofsky gives an extremely straightforward, honest and charismatic speech on the myths in the animal food industry. No sugar coating here!

Farm to Fridge (warning: very graphic): "this powerful film takes viewers on an eye-opening exploration behind the closed doors of the nation's largest industrial farms, hatcheries, and slaughter plants -- revealing the often-unseen journey that animals make from Farm to Fridge." :

Earthlings (warning: very graphic): This documentary, narrated by Hollywood actor Joaquin Phoenix, shows the naked face of animal cruelty in society at large. It takes you inside slaughter houses in the United States and around the world, exposing the way animals are treated and the "life" they're subjected to for human consumption, a reality that begs analysis.
